The sun has finally emerged after what seems like weeks of rain and dreariness. As my son used to say when he was little: "April showers bring me flowers."
Eventually, the flowers will come, and the leaves. For now, this is the view from my house.
I hosted a fiddle session tonight at the shop, and feel I am making a little progress. The combination of actually practicing the fiddle tunes and attending more fiddle sessions seems to be working. It is always helpful for me to have a fiddle newbie present, as we did tonight, so that we can slow down at least some of the tunes and occasionally use sheet music "for the new person."

Great view! You're so fortunate to enjoy that, as well as the opportunity to play music of your choice. The fiddle stuff sounds like great fun. As you know from reading my blog, I'm less than happy at our repertoire this season.
Thanks! Actually I was recently discontent with one of our cello choir pieces, or rather with my part in it (too easy), but was reluctant to complain because someone had to take the part, and, most of the time, I get very good parts. I have a post in my head about complaining, and will try verbalize it soon. I think legitimate complaining serves a good purpose.
