A Day at the Beach, almost

I drove by the water on the way home from my cello lesson today, and, of course, my cello wanted to get some air too, having been cooped up in the house for far too long. Maybe it is almost spring.

That water sure looks inviting... spring!

I have to admit to a little shiver when I saw how close your cello case was to the water. What if you had an earthquake? :)

Very pretty photo! But I think your cello wanted to get out of the case and do some playing :-)

Beautiful and inviting photo. Today is one of those rare spring days in Miami; the high will be 72 degrees.

Nice photo.

Although I'm a little sad that your cello seems to get out more than I do. Sigh...

Yes, I was a little worried about the cello case placement, but it was a windless day. I also have to admit that at least one of my cello case photos was just that, an empty cello case. I really want to take a beach photo, but all that sand could gum up the works.

Hopefully, we will inch up to 72 soon, and the first thing I will do is take my cello outside to play.

I remember one year we had a blizzard in early April and by the end of the month, it was 80 degrees, and we were lounging on the beach. (My husband and I, not my cello and I!)

What a lovely place to be a cello! The temperature here has dropped down into the 40's after reaching nearly 80 degress on Saturday! It's springtime!

Hope your cello liked it's little outing. Just bought the Beethoven's Tripelkonzert for 1 euro at a local thriftstore near my house, it's the Oistrach, Rostropowitsch, Richter with Herbert von Karajan conducting. Wanted to do a little research on this album (vinyl) and found the you tubepieces and your blog. Oh, the wonders of the internet. But I do love this rendition of the Triple Concert.
Give my regards to the Cape!
Best from Yolima in Holland.
