The leaves are starting to turn. I went to the beach anyway. It was very windy, but I, and numerous others, stood our ground against the changing of the seasons.

The surf looks inviting.
I too am trying to hold onto these last few days of warm sun. I always find this time of year difficult.

I know what you mean. I still imagine winter in a positive way: long cozy evenings reading by the fire, but it doesn't really work out that way. They're not any longer, just darker, and the fireplace is not energy efficient. :-)
And there are so many of those summer things I haven't done yet! We have two more weeks, by the calendar. Enjoy!
