Cats and chairs

Since my plus-sized cat is fully occupying my computer chair, I am off to the beach.

I have given up my computer chair entirely to our cats. I now sit on an exercise ball. It is extremely comfortable, and I keep the chair nearby so I can pet the cat while I work (they fight to determine who gets the chair for the day).

Hi Cellogeek, Thanks for dropping by. You are so kind to your cats! While the exercise ball sounds comfy, my cats would probably use it to sharpen their claws, and then where would I be?

I usually have one cat in the windowsill in my office, one on the floor in front of the fan, and one in the kitchen, hoping for another allotment of food.

Life is much better with cats. It seems that yours live in a cat heaven! I gave up my chair because it was uncomfortable to be pushed out to the edge all of the time (don't know how a 10-pound cat manages to get the best spot on the chair). After they say goodbye to my husband when he leaves for work, one sits on the chair and the other climbs up and settles on the top of the bookcase. The word "treat" is definitely in their vocabulary!
